Last week, together with Ellevate.nl, we performed an amazing workshop to celebrate the International Girls in ICT day 2022.
The International Girls in ICT Day was established by ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and it is celebrated every year in over 150 countries around the world. The main purpose of this day is to encourage girls and young women to pursue studies and careers in the technology sector through training in coding, development of mobile applications, and IT.
The Girls Tech Lab was held in Equals Amsterdam, which is a coworking space, in the center of the city, that seeks to support women in tech and entrepreneurship. During the workshops, girls from different nationalities had the opportunity to learn about the importance of technology for their future, as well as learn the basics of robotics in a very fun and interactive way.
We feel very proud to have held this event and to see the girls so happy and motivated thanks to the technology they used. Our purpose is to continue inspiring more girls around the world to make them feel capable of becoming leaders in technology in the future.
